Who we are
Mind Muse is a Melbourne based consultancy firm who thrive on training for really good thinking and communication practices. Mind Muse was founded by Dr Fiona Patterson, a thinking skills expert, trainer and educator - and formerly a visual thinking software designer. Fiona has a PhD in philosophy, a Bachelor of Arts(Hons), a Bachelor of Business, a Diploma of Education and a booty of prizes.
Her 9 years experience in education and training includes teaching critical thinking in Universities and Colleges and providing professional development workshops. Fiona co-lectured the highly successful Critical Thinking: The Art of Reasoning course with Dr Tim van Gelder for 5 years at The University of Melbourne and currently teaches Critical thinking and Communication in the Graduate School of Business at Monash University. Fiona also has over 15 years practical experience in business, working in large property and retail corporates to start up IT companies and family run businesses.
